Summer Reading Club 2008

How to participate in Vacation Reading Club
                             Catch the Reading Bug!

1.  READ

Beginning Saturday, May 24th come by the Children’s Desk and receive your official Summer Reading Club log to begin your reading quest.

There are four reading goals: 10, 20, 30 and 40 hours.

As you complete each goal bring your folder to the children’s desk to receive prizes.

When you have reached 40 hours your name will go into a drawing for a variety of special prizes.

You may read ANY kind of book you would like.

You may read magazines or newspapers.

You may read to yourself or have someone read to you.

Listening to audio books also counts.

If an older child reads to a younger child both can count the time in their logs.

Ending - Your folder must be turned in by Saturday, July 26th in order to receive your prizes.
