How to Donate Money
Giving Tree ![]()
Once a year the Friends of the Library sponsor a Giving Tree where library users donate money to purchase a new book, audiobook, CD, or DVD. This is an ideal way to support the library and to give a gift in honor or memory of a loved one.
Donating money to the library couldn't be easier.
- If you are in the library - just go to the Check In desk and we will gladly accept your cash, check, or credit card donation.
- You can do the same by mail to:
Newton County Library System
7116 Floyd Street, NE
Covington, GA 30014 - You can even call us at 770-787-3231 with your credit card information.
In all cases we will provide you with a form that you can use for tax purposes and the citizens of Newton County will be grateful for your gift.
Birthday Book Club
Are you looking for a unique way to commemorate a child's birthday? Our Birthday Book Club is just what you need! Your donation of $25 buys either a classic children's book or a newer title. A bookplate will indicate the child's name and age and for the first 6 months that it is in the library, the book will be displayed in a special spot on the new book shelf.
Click here Birthday Book Club to fill out the donation form and then mail it or bring it to the library with your check.
